AVD emitter for lithium-ion battery fires

Using the new extinguishing agent "AVD Fire Extinguishing Agent" developed by AVDFire in the UK for lithium-ion battery fires!

We would like to introduce the "AVD Dispenser for Lithium-Ion Battery Fire" that we handle. The mist emitted absorbs the heat from the burning material and cools it, while the fine particles of vermiculite contained within cover the surface of the burning material, forming a film as the plate-like particles overlap. This continuous process blocks the burning material from oxygen, suppressing and extinguishing the fire. The AVD extinguishing agent is an AQUOS VERMICULITE DISPERSION water-based vermiculite (expanded mica) dispersion, and expanded mica (vermiculite) is one of the extinguishing agents listed in Japan's Fire Service Act. After discharge, it is PFAS-free. Being a fine powder of a natural mineral, it poses no problem if flushed down the drain with water. 【Product Lineup】 ■ AVD 0.75LP: Extinguishing agent 0.83kg (0.75L) ■ AVD 1.5LP: Extinguishing agent 1.6kg (1.5L) ■ AVD 4LP: Extinguishing agent 4.4kg (4L) ■ AVD 6LP: Extinguishing agent 6.6kg (6L) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

New fire extinguishing agent that considers the environment [Miyazaki University]

Extinguish metal fires with solidifying foam! It is effective in extinguishing magnesium fires.

We would like to introduce a new environmentally friendly fire extinguishing agent developed by the Faculty of Engineering at Miyazaki University. Available in liquid and powder forms, it extinguishes fires by solidifying with foam that reacts to temperature, and the foam does not dissipate even at high temperatures. It does not use surfactants or organic fluorine compounds that are considered harmful to human health, and it has been proven effective in extinguishing metal fires, such as magnesium, where water and ABS extinguishing agents cannot be used, with a solidifying "strong foam." 【Features】 ■ Extinguishes various types of fires with foam ■ Effective for metal fires ■ Minimal environmental impact and low cost ■ Usable in both powder and liquid forms ■ Effective in extinguishing magnesium fires *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
